Another String to our Bow

Year 3 had the opportunity to perform some wonderful music with their string instruments to their delighted parents this morning. They have been learning the violin all year during their music lessons with Mrs Ellwood and today was their chance to show everyone the fruits of their labour. All the teachers and parents were blown away by the talented children and it goes to show what a little bit of risk taking and effort can produce. Well done to everyone involved.

Mr Cluett, we certainly were “delighted” by the string performances this morning…what super violinists you all are Year 3. Luca’s little sister enjoyed it so much that she sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” on the way home! I was very impressed that you’ve all become so good after having had lessons just once a week. Well done everyone, and thank you and congratulations to Mrs Ellwood.

I enjoyed playing the violin because it is my favourite instrument.
