The opening scene of The Comedy of Errors is an important one. It sets the scene for the confusion which follows in the play.

This week we have been doing some acting.

Below are some freeze frame images which tell the story of the scene.

Weather Report

In Geography we are learning about weather.

As part of our learning this week we researched local weather and created a weather report.

Here are the highlights of Sycamore’s reports, which were performed to the class.

How did we do? Could any of us be weather presenters in the future?

Ashmolean

Upon returning from our history trip last Thursday, we took some time to reflect on our learning. We chose our own ways to respond to the trip. Some people made posters, some made booklets, others word searches. Below are some examples of our creations.

“amazing and full of history” Seth

“very interesting, it feels like you’ve gone back in time” Jack

Egyptian Adventure

To kick off our Egyptian topic, the Year 3s travelled to Oxford to visit the oldest museum in the world, the Ashmolean. The children had a great day exploring, learning, sharing, experiencing and investigating all about the Ancient Egyptians.

Have a look at the photos below…
