Soccer School by AJ

I went to the Reading Soccer School at the Madejski Stadium and the coach said that there would be a surprise at the end.
When we finished, two Reading players came to meet us, Michael Hector and Jordan Obita.

I got their autographs on my shirt, a photo and my football boot!

Stixx Workshop

The Year 3 children spent this afternoon taking part in a workshop which involved using rolls of newspaper, tightly wound, to create some fantastic sculptures.

As part of the project, some chairs, a table and a huge elephant have been created.

Thank you to all parents who donated their newspapers this week.

Year 3, did you enjoy taking part in the workshop?

My trip to see Reading – by AJ

On Saturday we went to Madejski Stadium to watch Reading play against Walsall.

It was a fantastic game and Reading won 4-0!

We met George Evans who is the new player for Reading, he played before at Manchester City and we got his autograph!

Rugby success

All the boys in Year 3 travelled over to Reading on Friday to play a mini-triangular tournament against St Edwards and Daneshill. The children represented the school fantastically, showing great team-work and courage. Holme Grange won every single game and were victorious. Congratulations boys!
