We are currently learning about Myths and Legends in English and the children have been planning their own story. Firstly, they created their own monster and hero, then they drew their story onto to a story board and today they became storytellers by telling their Myth to the class. The children are now ready and very excited to write their Myths later in the week.

Have a watch of Leila and Beau using their story boards to tell their story to the rest of the class…

Year 3 Assembly

Our North America Assembly was an absolute hit with parents, children and staff this week.

Congratulations to all of the Year 3 pupils who put on such a fantastic show. It really was brilliant so many people who watched have had great things to say about your enthusiasm, confidence and risk taking.

As a reminder of the experience here is the video that started the assembly.

History Day

For History Day in Year 3, the children got to experience what life was like as a WW1 soldier. It was both exciting and informative to learn about soldiers uniform, weapons, food and way of life.

Have a look at the photos below to see what they got up to!
